The Duxot Taranto is a very successful homage to the Vacheron Constantin Historiques 222. The design only slightly differs from the VC. Whereas the VC has a blue dial, the Duxot has 3 different colors to choose from. The crown differs and the Duxot is slightly thicker. The bracelet has the same appearance but obviously you won't find the VC Maltezer Cross anywhere on the Duxot watch.
It sports a reliable Miyota 8215 movement which is clearly audible (I love that sound). Furthermore the watch fits and wears perfectly on both average and smaller wrists.
There are some cons. The fluted bezel is a bit sharp around the edges. Nothing serious though. Lume is rather weak: not very bright and last only 4-5 hours. Good enough for me, but some people might find it insufficient. And though the bracelet is really neat and flush, adjusting the length can be tricky.
In general, I'm not a fan of push pins but I've all the necessary tools to deal with them. With this bracelet it was still a challenge: not only to remove a few links as the pins were extremely tight, but also to realign the links and replace the pins.
But hey, considering the result is a good-looking form factor on one's wrist for just over €200 instead of an amount with 4 zeros, it is only a small effort to pay ;-)
