Please not that the analogue part of the watch (upper dial) is a proper mechanical/automatic movement that hacks and can be handwound.
The exact time can therefore easily be set, accurate to the second.
The watch sits nicely on the wrist; indeed elegantly so.
The leather strap is of high quality, as is so often the case with Orient.
I have deducted a star in my rating as reading the time may present a bit of a challenge to those with lesser eyesight.
At the price; a great bargain.

De Orient XCAA001W is een heel speciaal horloge met zowel een quartz als een automatisch uurwerk. Zoals u kan zien zijn er 2 wijzerplaten boven elkaar - de bovenste is een mechanisch uurwerk en de onderste een quartz. Het mechanische uurwerk geeft de tijd weer middels 2 ringen voor de uren en minuten; de secondenwijzer is een rode streep die daar overheen draait. Ook zit er een kijkvenster achterop het horloge.
Het quartz uurwerk is een stuk klassieker en geeft de tijd weer met de standaard 3 wijzers.

Al met al een zeer leuk, spannend en speciaal horloge!
